We bought a brand new Sony Bravia X80J and were super disappointed when it started waking us up in the middle of the night, saying at full volume "Sorry, something went wrong. Try again in a few seconds." We tried disabling any speech and assistant capabilities on the TV and remote, but nothing helped. We just switched off the surge protector every night as a way to guarantee it wouldn't wake us up.
Finally we realized it was that our Roku wasn't powering off at night when the TV turned off. So we started a nightly routine that included "Turn off living room Roku," and the issue is resolved. If you have any HDMI connected devices, make sure to power those off separately when you turn the TV off. I know a lot of others have this issue, as I did extensive online troubleshooting through this. But none of the suggested solutions worked for me, so I wanted to post this in case it helps other people who have this problem.
Hi @siryu00, Actually you can switch this off directly through the Bravia sync option on the TV, basically you can un-sync both devices so that when the Roku is on it will not automatically wake up the TV
press the (Quick Settings) button on the remote control, then select Settings — Channels & Inputs — External inputs — BRAVIA Sync settings — BRAVIA Sync control.
