Bleutooth connection xr-55A80K to rx-v685 receiver?
Hi all,
I wish to connect with bluetooth my brand New Sony TV to a Yahama receiver. Is that possible?
I went to bluetooth>connect accessoire. ... but devices do not shake hands.
Any ideas?

Hi @BongsoAri Have you checked that your Receiver accepts the A2DP Bluetooth profile required to connect to your TV? A quick look at its spec shows Bluetooth SBC / AAC (headphones) but no mention of A2DP. It really would be best to connect it using HDMI which will support many modern audio formats. Bluetooth is only PCM Stereo.

A80K and RX-V685 connected (if they can) by Bluetooth are like a Lamborghini by pedals...

In theory yes you can if they both support A2DP.
But I agree with the guys above that you will be losing core features using only BT, HDMI is the way to go for me.
