Hi, I've had my Android TV now for about 3 months and never had any connection issues. However, yesterday the power went off and when it came back on we had no issues with any other deviced in the house, all connected and carried on working fine. The TV came back on and appeared to connect back to the WIFI, but when I tried YouTube - no connection. I tried various other apps, and only Netflix works; and works fine as I watched a movie to test it.
I have tried another router, and again everything else works but the TV is the same, only Netflix works. I have disconnected, reconnected, connected with manual password, connected via WPS still the same. I saw a post that suggested WIFI direct causes an issue, but mine is not on. In fact, I put it on, tried it, then off and tried again and it made no difference.
I went into the 'initial setup' for the TV and started again, but still the same. I have been into the network settings and tried setting it as IPV6 but that doesn't work. So, any help would be appreciated.

I've just joined this Forum to say Thankyou for taking the time to publish this solution. Lots of you described the exact symptoms I was experiencing (on my 55" Sony tv purchased in January 2020 in the UK). I followed the suggested solution and Amazon Prime video is working fine now. A big 'Thankyou' to all the altruistic contributors on this thread. 🙌

We lost ability to get Amazon Prime after recent power cut - got message that Internet not connected - saw different time on tv - about 7 hrs different although power cut only lasted about 1 hr - anyway went to settings and reset time and now everything is fine - would never have thought of that without this help - Thanks

Until I update my android tv display a massage that "connect to wifi but no internet" please help sony.

Kept getting this after the latest update to Android 9.0, Hopefully this will resolve it for me on my KD-49XD8305.
Just need to fix my Sony SWF-BR100 wireless sub transceiver that packed up after the update then all is good again.
Android 9.0 was certainly not an improvement for me!
Anyway, thanks for the Internet fix.
