failed during satalite lightning strikes
i live in spain
during the last 3 thunder storm i have lost 3 out of the 4 hdmi inputs connected to the sayalite system
i am dreading the next thunder storm
any sugestions

Welcome to the Sony Community! I suggest you:
- have your satellite dish properly grounded to the building earthing system on the roof
- purchase a reliable surge protector and connect all your AV equipment through that to the mains
In the worst case scenario, you always could simply disconnect all AV equipment from the mains during thunderstorms. But what is definitely most important is to remember to always power off devices before connecting or disconnecting HDMI cables.
