Hi wondering if anyone can help?
I changed my password on my google account and the tv asked me to sign in again when I went to open a new app. It asks for 2-step verification and I enter the code but then it loops back to the ‘your nearly there’ message and asks for 2-step verification again. Done this so many times I am now locked out of my google account!
has anyone else seen this and know of a fix?
tv is KD-55XD8599 with latest software update.

Did you try to sign in using email and password instead?
Also have you tried force signing out and back in again? You can do that by clearing the data of the Google Play store app.

unfortunately not. If I enter email and password I get the message about the account administrator wanting further steps, then I get the screen to enter the texted passcode. I do this and then it just loops right back to the screen saying ‘nearly there’ and wanting to do the passcode process again. Its just an endless loop until my google account gets locked again. Not having any problem with other devices.
You may need to generate an app password specifically for the TV,
