Hello
I have a problem with playing AV1 files through a USB flash drive on the TV.
The picture chops, the sound lags, and generally you can't watch movies with this new codec.
I tried with 5-6 players, even through Kodi, but the problem remains
Does anyone have a solution to the problem?
In this case, a sample file ... Retribution.2023.1080p.BDRip.AV1-DiN
All other files like this, I can watch them without problem ... Barbie.2023.1080p.BluRay.x265.DDP5.1.Atmos-WAR

I understand it's a Sony forum, I just like to think globally...somehow I have a bigger picture of the problem
TCL already has android 11 on this model, but the problem is not solved
We are just debating exactly what you said ... it's not whether they want to ... but whether they will do it, which has always shown that they won't ... otherwise they won't sell the new TV models
This is how these companies have always acted and thought ... money comes first .. customers are not very important
Hey mafozi, you can post your suggestion on the official website by the way, maybe they will consider it.
Well, well, well a week later and I have noticed that Sony has announced is is to upgrade the version of Android 9 to Android 10 on their 2018, 2019 and 2020 model oLED and LCD Android TVs. Read the article below for full information and to check if your TV is included.
