Hi @iadonal2517
Would you please check your TV's model number. KD-85005B appears to be an invalid model number.
yes my mistake thank you for your note
KD- 65005B
Hi @iadonal2517
Sorry that is invalid as well. Depending on the year it may be in the format KD-SSFY9999 or KD-SSF99Y.
So in general SS = Size in inches, F = Type W=HD X=4K LCD A=4K OLED etc., Y=Year J=2021 H=2020 G=2019 etc., 99 or 9999 = Series 7xxx=Entry (Linux) 8xxxx=Mid(Android) 9xxxx=Best(Android). Other formats exist.
Found my original Sony invoice KD65X8505
This NUMBER KD-65X8505B / software PKG3.006EUA i found from the internal data in the TV
Hi @iadonal2517
Thanks for that, X=4K, B=2014. This allows us to find your TV’s specifications (below).
Unless I am missing it, your TV does not appear to have a Bluetooth radio which rules out direct wireless headphones. So you are restricted to using the headphone socket or other audio out sockets like the digital audio output. So any wired headphones or wireless transmitter headphones that connect to your headphone socket will be compatible. I will leave it to others to make suggestions.

Just as an aside you should note that it is not an Android TV, it comes under the Other TVs community.

If you want to use Bluetooth headphones, and you are not using the Optical Out, you can get inexpensive Bluetooth transmitters that plug into the optical out, from Amazon and the like.
As regards headphones, I suggest you get a copy of What HiFi? and see what they recommend in each category. Buds, on-ear, over-ear, closed-back, open-back? But they will help you narrow it down.
Thank you for your help today ... very usful clearly the problem now and very clear this TV has no Blue tooth inbuilt..
It canwork with an adaptor as advised I will upgrade the TV shortly now...
Many thanks for all the help ...
Regards Ian
@iadonal2517 Alternatively if you get a headphone with a long cable, you can connect it to the headphone port on the back of the TV using a 3.5mm plug.
