Voice command

I’ve had a replacement Sony Bravia, this time a KD49 XH9505 and when I push the microphone button on my remote control & speak. It might not recognise my voice or I have something set wrong. ANY IDEAS?

Have you paired the remote to the TV which must be connected to the internet?
