YVM2305 message on Sony KD-49XD8305 when TV switch on

Each time I switch the TV on, YVM2305 appears on screen. I've contacted 'YouView' and gone though their suggestions without success.
The latest TV updates are done, TV has been retuned, I have 141 services tuned in.
Internet speed is 51.4mbps, TV connects to internet and home network with no problems.
So why does this message keep occurring?
Google YVM2305 and there’s lots of info. I'm supprise there's no posts on this site.

Did you go through the Sony troubleshooting guide related to this error too?

I have gone though the suggested checks with no improved results.

I have said all along that I receive 'YouView' though my Sony TV, Model Sony
KD-49XD8305, this message occurs when the TV is first switched on, I have no
problems connecting to my 'Home Network' nor to the internet

Maybe the answer is to disable 'YouView' in favour of 'FreeView'

Thanks to all who have offered suggestions to my issue.

Thank you for your kind wishes, Malcolm, which are reciprocated,

I think a switch to Freeview, on a test basis, would be the ideal next step here,

And unlike YouView after Satellite, Freeview instead of YouView is easily reversible,

So go to Setup/Channels/YouView, and select Disable YouView.

Then, without retuning, see if everything works fine on the Freeview side, and if you can get all your expected channels or not.

Then try a retune, whether the above was OK or not, and check again.

Finally, do Settings/Channels/YouView, and Enable YouView again. But when it gets to the bit where it asks you to retune, just Skip that step, so you preserve the tunings you had on the Freeview side.

See if you now still get YVM2305 or not, and report back your findings from the above.

Then we can have a think about things 🙂

Thank You royabrown, I think I will do as you suggested, I like the idea of
re-tuning on Freeview then keep those settings for YouView, I will of course
report back the findings, but not todaye, the Wife is watching TV.

Many Thanks royabrown.

Yes, I too have the problem of my wife just wanting to use the TV for its intended purpose, instead of letting me play about with it investigate the problem raised

Well, I waited until the Wife went to bed.

I disabled YouView, did a Full channel scan on FreeView, got this result:
Number of Services found 172, there are no 'Hidden Channels'

On switching the TV off then back on, No 'YVM2305' Message.

I then did a Full rescan on my Samsung TV, in another room for comparison,
got this result: TV 119 Services

Radio 32 "

Others 21 "

Total 172 "

I dear say there are others out there who will say '172 Services should be
enough for any man or woman'

I then re-enabled the YouView on the Sony TV, So far the message has not
occurred.

However I now have a message that states 'the TV is not connected to the
internet' then after 5 minutes a message TV now connected to the internet.
I did nothing.

Make what you want of it.

A Happy New Year to all.

Well , I did not know I could turn off you view!

Thanks so much for this 🙏

I have literally wanted to smash this telly up !

It's so damn slow. Waiting ages to be able to watch TV , change channel after start-up let alone dare to look to see what's on via the guide button!

I'VE now gone over to Freeview and it seems quicker already. The channel guide comes on straight away .

I hope it's stays like it .

Royabrown 🙏

Thanks
