NP-FV100 battery with HDR-SR10E and NEX-VG10

Please can anyone tell me how long the NP-FV100 battery is meant to last in the HDR-SR10E and NEX-VG10 camcorders.

Hello tomasfrohawk - Welcome to the Sony Forums

As opposed to quoting figures, I have taken a look at some reviews posted around the web and for this battery, most people have said that they are getting at least two hours of HD shooting with this version. This will of course depending upon leaving the camera in standby between shots, temperature conditions while shooting etc.

For the SR10E in particular, the battery is available in variants of 1030, 2060 and 3900 mAH as opposed to the factory supplied battery which is 1000mAH so this gives you an idea about the capacity.

Thanks,

Simon
