Sony HDR-CX115E Temperature problem??

when camera is recording for 10 minutes then the Temperature increase about 35-40 celsius. is that normal?

the camera working fine without problem.

Hi George , welcome to the Sony Forums.

If it's working, it's not getting too hot. It'll stop recording (with an error message) if it does.

The battery pack in particular will get hot with prolonged use, which is quite normal. I'd suggest you keep the camera in a cool place wherever possible, as high ambient temperatures will certainly play a part. Shield it from the sun if it's on a tripod, for example.

Sony warrant HDR cameras operating at up to 40ºC and in practice I wouldn't worry too much if it regularly reaches such temperatures. Rest assured you can't cook it without it letting you know first!

the battery temperature is ok.

i thing is the zoom moter .

the camera working fine.
