The USB streaming will not work with Windows 7. The only solution for you is to use an i.Link (FireWire) connection. All drivers needed for this connection are preinstalled in the OS. All camcorders with tape are supposing to be used with an i.link connection. The USB port is mostly for downloading still images from the Memory Stick.
