I own a Sony BDV-E300 Home Theatre System. Just recently, the sound has started to intermittently cut out for a fraction of a second before going back to normal. Normally it does this a couple of times repeatedly then resumes back to normal for some minutes before repeating. The System has been connected to my SKY Box and an Optical Cable runs between the Home Theatre System and my LG TV. This interruption to Sound only occurs when the Sony is switched on so I think we can rule out a problem with SKY. I have also double checked to make sure all connections are seated correctly. Just to confirm, all these connections have been like this since the Home Theatre System was purchased a few years ago and suffered no problems until very recently.
Has anyone any idea what may be causing this issue please ?
