QUESTION. IS MOD CHIPPING ILLEGAL IN THE UK AS chip gets installed and then firmware is also modified that belongs to sony im takin it that this is illegal.. im asking as my work has got me installing these, and ive spoken to my solicitor who has advised me that they are illegal... but can a sony rep get back to me on the legal side of messing with firmware and mod chips and how legal is it in the uk., and im pretty shure it illegal. but want confirmation from a sony rep on this forum please,,
