RDR-HXD870 software update and tuning

Ok for you young guys but this 88year old is struggling. How do I download the new version and then burn it onto a disc the version I have now I..

Software is 125 and thhead ware is 435. With little help I think I could do it

Any help would be really appreciate Thank you

My request has not been answered in a way I can understand. Sony do not
sell the disc with the information so, I can't upgrade the recorder not
with any confidence. Thank you for the kind thought

Jack, if you are prepared to do this in easy stages then we can probably get you updated.

You are almost certainly going to have to install a free CD/DVD burning program to enable you to burn the special file correctly to a CDR or CDRW. Are you happy to do this?
