Email alerts only

I tried to set my phone "to tell" me about incoming text messages. But somehow I´ve started getting alerts also when I receive e-mails. I want the message alert only, nothing else. How can I fix it?

Go to the Email app(s) > settings > notifications > disable sound notification.
