Custom-Stock Rom

Is flashtools the only way to go back to a stock rom if I am currently running a custom rom?

Because I can't update/repair my phone from PCC nor SEUS.

And, if using flashtools is the only option, will it void my warranty?

I wasn't able to find a stock rom for my region (Generic Trade Iberia). There are no available ftf files for Xperia Ray from my region
