ICS update for Live with Walkman query

I read the Sony site update : (updates for the Walkman Live will roll out from next week ,, KUDOS Guys)

After reading and watching the videos i got a couple of queries :

1) Do we have to remove the external SD before and during the update ; will all my lose all data from my externinal SD after the update ?

2) The video says that some of the services like ANT Radio and Facebook inside xperia (and many more) will be disabled initially and we would able to power these up manually ; Are these services and apps already inside the phone's memory or we would require a wireless connection/ 3G / 4G data connection to download these apps

I, with my Live with Walkman, prefer to wait a bit more if that means that the ICS on my phone will run smooth, but even this patience can come to an end (thought I'm not gonna change my phone this/next year)...

no entiendo porque sony nuevamente inicio ics 4.0.4 con los actualizados en el mes de abril, y mi wt19 para cuando, no hay nisiquiera un SI, por lo menos decir una fecha y no tener que entrar constantemente en la pagina para averiguar si ya se puede actualizar mi wt19, repito los unicos que han recibido la ICS 4.0.4 fueron los mismos que recibieron ICS 4.0.3.

necesito una fecha concreta, a pasado suficiente tiempo desde que salio la actualizacion y al parecer quieren seguir teniendonos en esperas  (finales de mayo principios de junio)

It is hard for Sony (and any other company) to give a specific date, different regions get the update on different dates and also the network/carrier may also alter the update which may also affect the date you actually get the update.

After update to ICS 4.0.4. In brightness setting automatic setting is not visible I have to manually set brightness. Moreover in ICS video call is not included
