Have noticed that about half the time when trying to take a screenshot the screenshot will come out fine, the other half it will either come out normal except very dark to the point where you can barely make it out or will take a screenshot of the menu where you press the screenshot button.
I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, if it is a known issue as I can't find a single thing about it?

That's normal, there isn't anything wrong with your phone and also I'd noticed that you have battery defender and probably antivirus and taskillers, you do NOT need them, in fact, they create a LOT of issues and battery widgets/apps drain more battery than help

Android apps that use power control APIs are often 'battery killers,' oh the irony

Thanks I will try that shortly, in the meantime just thought I would put a screenshot/s to show what I mean.

Normal? Okay well that's the first time I've come across a phone that takes screenshots like that...
Thanks for your help though 🙂
once we get android 4.0 the screenshots will be easier and faster by pressing the power button and volume down
make sure to uninstall those apps (taskillers, antivirus, battery defender)
