Hi!
I got a Sony TV 40" BRAVIA KDL-40BX400 with an external HD 3.5" 500 GB with power supply that connects directly to the TV`s USB port and works great.
I am trying to have a bigger HD that is WITHOUT a power supply, like a 2.5" 1 TB USB 3, formatted fat32 and the TV doesn`t recognize it 😞
Is it because its too big? the USB 3 thing? the lack of external power supplier?
How big ext. 2.5` hd can i connect to sony usb tv?
