KDL-40EX401 Flashing Light

I brought my Tv last week and it was delivered its now flashing the red light on the stand by light, It says i need to contact either sony or my dealer in the book however there product support teams arnt back until monday so iam sitting there with no tv as it keeps turning off and flashing 6 times.

Is there anything i can do ?

Have you tried updating the firmware on the TV?

If it is faulty, I would simply get it replaced as it would appear to be faulty out of the box. Which dealer did you get it from?

Hi Eduzzel,

Thanks for quick reply  I havent got internet yet as just moved into the house so cant update the firmware yet. I brought it from dixons.co.uk
