Lip sync of KDL 40WD 653 tv

I have a KDL40WD653 tv, which does not have sound and vision in sync.

I updated it with the just released firmware , v 8.211 which is intended to  resolve a lip sync issue.

It has improved it a little, but it's still not exact, so the issue is not resolved.

Does anyone else have this problem ?

Will Sony take further steps to rectify the situation to allow sound and vision to be exactly synchronised ?

Hi Horaceontal,

So you have the KDL-40WD653 and this issue was slightly improved after the firmware update to v8.211, but not completely sorted?
