Netflix problem on KDL50W829

Hi

 

I've had this telly for a few weeks now and in the last few days, Netflix doesn't work.

 

I just get the message "Netflix has encountered an error"

 

Has anyone had the same issues?

Hi there

 

These types of problems normally is at your internet connection or ISP.  But lets go through the following:

  • Ensure that you have the latest firmware installed.
  • Are you able to use other applications on the TV (ie iPlayer/YouTube etc?)
  • Try signing out of Netflix - and logging back in again (instructions : HERE)
  • All else fails, try a factory reset of the TV.
  • Check your ISPs forums to see if others are having problems.
