Picasa on Sony NX713 TV - cant access!

I am trying to access my photo account setup in Picasa on my Sony TV.  When I try to log in, the TV displays "unkown error".  Any ideas whats causing this and why I cant access my web album through the Picasa internet TV application?

Do any of the other web services work at the moment? Sometimes just a case of leaving it 30 minutes and trying again as it could be google are doing something on their side.

Hi,

I had to ensure that the pwd use to login to the internet services did not contain any special characters.  Once I had changed my pwd it worked fine.

I had the same problem and it seems to work now.

I heard somewhere that the problem was not happening when using a new google account  (i dunno what is "new").

So if you create a new account then it should work.

As i wanted to use my "very old" google account, i tried something new :

First I logged off from my google account (https://mail.google.com/mail/?logout&hl=en-GB)

Then I went on http://picasaweb.google.com/home and decided to create an account :  by clicking the button at the bottom right of the page. Then i entered my "very old" gmail address in the first field at the top of the page. Entered the current pwd...filled up all the fields, validate that.

I went back to my TV, in the picasa widget, entered my "very old" login (without @, something like toto.tata and not toto.tata@gmail.com), and the password. And it worked !
