Have just bought 1/2 price 40" Sony from Argos to replace other 32" Sony which has moved up to bedroom. When we switch on new 40" Sony we get firstly Sony icon, it then switches into AV1 as Sky tuned in but has the banner at the top of the screen before switching to the full screen. This sony icon and then banner takes about 15/20 seconds to clear from switching on the tv but is SO annoying and is not the case with old Sony and other family menbers sony. 2 questions - is this fixable and if so how and is this why this set was 1/2 price from Argos ????
