New post as follow up to 'No signal go to power save after factory reset '
Could not get any satisfaction on prev post, tried everything from a dozen forums, nuthin'.
Finally did yet another factory reset. Eventually managed to regiter windows, restart, seems ok except for the monitor resolution. Its default values seem to be 640x480 at 4 bit. Change them in the display properties, want to save them? Yes. Back to 640x480 etc.
Put in TFT/LCD disk that came with the monitor.
Display adjustment>Adjust>15'' display>current resolution 640x480>recommended resolution1024x768>change to recommended resolution>The graphics mode is not supported by the computer or video card>QUIT!!!
Hints anybody?
