Hi, I could use a bit of help/advice after completing a downgrade from Vista to XP, using the supplied Sony Vaio XP CD. There is no major problems as everthing seemed to work as stated in the downgrade manual that is supplied with the Vaio. The problem I have is something that seems to have a fair bit of reference to, on Google - under "Device manager - other devices" there is the big yellow "?" and two items are listed with "?" , [1] base system device, [2] Video controller [VGA compatible].
I have tried most of the solutions that are on Google but with no success. I tried to download drivers from both Intel and Microsoft but either they won't download or they are not the correct drivers. I am sure that I have done the change from Vista to XP as stated in the Sony manual [it's not that hard to follow], and I downloaded the two main driver folders from the Sony Vaio-link site, and everthing else is okay except for these two items. Can any-one help me out on this ?
