It's Sonic Stage all over again with their over-the-top volume fixing.
Bought a new NWZ-A845 after years of avoiding Sony because of SS nonsense, and they've done it again, driven me away and wasted my money.
Can't get a refund so Ebay for this rubbish at a considerable loss to me.
A player that does not perform for classical music is a total joke.
I registered just to say bye bye, again! (Sonic Stage kept me away for 5years I think)
(don't "explain" it as EU rules, there is no requirement for permanent low volume as yet)
Hi there
Even if you turn the AVLS off (have you tried that?) alot of people report the European models are still too
quiet. Maybe you could sell it and go for the Japanese model?
Apparently it is 64GB and the volume is really good.
To quote someone from another forum:
"I can also confirm it, I can't put my Japanese A847 louder than 10 without my eardrums exploding "
