Spectacular, isn't it?
@rooobb - It is interesting - but only at 65 and 75", which for many is just tooo big. Sporting an LG OLED panel too
But I just cant get my head around on how thin it is. The provided stand seems to make the TV wider, so its probably more suitable to be wall mounted. But if anyones place is like mine - my walls are paper thin. So something like that cannot be wall mounted.
@Anonymous I only have found italian sites that claim there will be a 55" too without acoustic surface (I don't know if the design will be any different if they have to put the speaker too).
But I'm really entralled also because besides any comparison you may find in internet, looking at an LCD and an OLED side by side.. wow
Hello guys,
TV series WE61 in the Press Release is called FullHD, but it is incorrect, the actual resolution is HD Ready.
I've sent an email to our (italian) PR...

Hi,
Great news, it appears that Sony have provided the 'full package' for the home cinematic experience for those that can afford it. OLED is definitely the way forward AND a UHD Blu-ray Player to boot !
The only reserve could be the price, I take it that your quote below must be a typo unless they are doing a great deal for UK residents........
UBP-X800 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player will be available from Spring 2017 priced at approximately £400 / €5200
Regards
Hi @Jonnie1266
Yes, it does seem Sony have done a proper evolutionary change this year from OLED > UHD Bluray Player > Dolby Atmos etc etc.
The information that I posted came from the press releases:
Cheers
Excellent news,
I for one would pay £400 for the player - I think Sony will be revising this price don't you
Regards
P.S. Maybe it is £400 and the quote for Euro is a typo ?
I would agree 5,200 euros - Nope
Theres been a few typos in the press releases. Who ever has created them, it was done in a hurry.:smileysilly:
Edit: Surely it couldnt be £4,000 for a bluray player??
Myabe its the new gold one to match the
NW-WM1Z gold walkman?
