I’m facing a persistent issue with my Sony WH-XB910N since the recent Sony | Headphones Connect app v13.1 update on iOS.
Before the update, I could seamlessly use multipoint connection between my iPhone 13 (iOS 18) and Lenovo ThinkPad (Windows 11). After updating the app to v13.1 (while my headset firmware is already up-to-date at v1.3.1), the option
“Connect to 2 devices simultaneously” is now permanently greyed out in the app.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Confirmed firmware is 1.3.1 (latest, released Oct 2025)
Performed full reset and re-initialization of the headset
Re-paired both devices (iPhone first, ThinkPad second) multiple times
Checked that LDAC isn’t active (iPhone uses AAC only)
Reinstalled the app and repeated setup
Unfortunately, the toggle remains disabled, and multipoint no longer works — even though it worked perfectly before this app version.
I’ve seen a few reports suggesting this is a regression introduced in Headphones Connect v13.1, particularly when pairing iPhone + Windows devices. Could you please confirm if this is a known issue and whether a patch (v13.1.1 or later) is in progress?
Any temporary workaround or ETA on the fix would be greatly appreciated.
