After updated to Android 4.0.4, cannot take snapshot?

After updated to Android 4.0.4, cannot take snapshot?

I searched this forum, some one say press the power button + volume down keys.  But it does not work.

The answer does not help.... It results in lower volume, not in taking a snapshot.... Any other suggestion?

Press and hold power button and volume down button exactly at the same time and  hold them there until you take a screenshot

Power button + volume down button together for 1.5 seconds.

Power button + volume down button works but if you have not pressed them on the same time I won't work
