Avoid poor connections not available in advanced wifi menu

I have a Z1C for a few months now and I'm very happy with it. There is however one thing I am missing, the avoid poor connections in the advanced wifi menu. According to www.techview.co/2014/03/set-up-wi-fi-xperia-z1-compact it should be there, but I cannot find it, not in Android 4.4 and also not in Andoid lollipop. Is it a secret option, do I have to search elsewhere?

It is there in 4.4.4 Settings then wi-fi then tap the 3 dots then Advanced then for me it's the 4th option down Avoid poor connections

I never saw this option on my Z3, may be others can confirm if it's really available.

Thanks for the quick replies. I have never seen it in 4.4.4, maybee I have overlooked it. But I hope that someone with 5.0.2 can point me out where I can find this option.

I've checked a Z1, Z Ultra and a M2 all running either 4.4.4 or 4.4.2 and all have this option as above been the 4th option on the advanced list

I have some screenshot for you. Sorry for the large images. When I made the screenshots I was in airplane mode, but the options I see are the same when I'm not.

You said KK that's LP not KK 4.4, I'm unable to check as I'm staying on KK

Maybe it's called something else because it won't avoid picking up connections but it will avoid connecting to a paired connection if the strength is poor

Sorry for the confusion, I was on Kitkat but I'm on Lollipop now. I see different options in the advanced menu but none of them is about avoiding known networks with a bad signal. at home I don't care about this option but I'm on a camping side now with a bit poor wifi, that's why I have trouble connection with it now.
