My tablet's battery very abruptly died. I tried contacting Sony, but their support website page is non-functional and will not send them the email. The device is under warranty still. Has anybody had success with the phone or the chat support?
I'll be trying tomorrow, when they're open.
Hopefully it will work without being on hold for hours.

Have you attempted any troubleshooting with the device? And if so can you please advise what you have tried?
