Received the 5.1.1 OTA update on 01 August. Most everything is running smoothly. However, since the update, streaming audio through my car's head unit via Bluetooth has stopped working properly. The music has a slightly increased tempo, and it skips every few seconds. There's also some static in the background. Listening to music (with Play or stock App) on headphones works fine.
I've deleted Sync from my Z2 and my Z2 from Sync, then re-paired them. I've also done a factory reset and run the repair tool. The problem persists. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
It looks like a compatibility issue for me, if it happens and you know someone with another phone that runs 5.1.1 kindly try to test it with your car's head unit.
Thanks for the suggestion. Had a friend with a Nexus 5 on 5.1.1 try connecting to my head unit, and it worked fine. Also followed a suggestion of clearing the cache partition, but the problem persists. Near as I can tell, this is becoming a somewhat common problem that may get fixed in the next release. Though, if anyone has any other possible solutions, I'd appreciate it!
