Can you try restart smart connect?
To do this please go to Settings > Apps > All > Smart Connect > Force Stop > Clear Data, then restart your phone.
If the phone is working correctly in this mode, this indicates there is a third party app causing a conflict with the device.
In this situation I would advise to remove the downloaded apps one by one to identify which app is causing the conflict.
If the phone does not perform correctly in Safemode I would advise to run a software repair on your handset as this is likely to resolve the issues currently being experienced.
