can not play video message

i can not play any video on my device; when i select any video i face the following message:

Cannot play video.

i need your help

Is it locally stored videos or streamed?

Any how try clearing data for the video player you use to play your videos.

Settings > App's > All > Select the app > Clear data.

Settings-apps-all-movies,clear data as suggested above.What if you download vlc or mx player and use them for your videos?
