Can't Install apps from Play Store

Hi Support,

I am  using Xperia C. I have updated by mobile to latest system update.

Android version: Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean)

Latest available software: 16.0.B.2.16

Release started: 2014-08-06

I am facing insufficient space issues while installing apps from Play Store.

Device Memory having 150 MB free space.
Now trying to install new app from Play Store which size is 10 MB.
It shows insufficient space error to install the apps.

Then I uninstall some of downloaded apps and cleared app data.
Even now also i am not able to install any apps from play store.

Also I have repair the system update, but no luck. same issue occurred.

Even I am not able to update the already installed apps.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Thanks,
Perusu

One more doubt. Play Store get auto updated if I turn on the Mobile Data.
I have changed the Auto-update apps option as Do not auto update apps in Play Store settings. But Play Store get auto updated and same insufficient space issue occurred. Thinking_Face

How to disable auto update of Google Play Store?

The Play Store will always update itself to the latest version automatically. I'm afraid i don't know of any way to avoid this.

If you have an external SD card you can free up memory by moving apps to the SD card from Settings -> Apps -> SD card but some data will always be stored on the internal storage so you may need to uninstall some apps to be able to download new ones.

@protech

First make sure that your phone has internet access by using for example Chrome or Youtube.

If internet works, it might be a download that's stuck in play store. Open Play, from left side menu, select "My apps &games". If you have any ongoing downloads, you should see a "STOP" button. Tap that and then try to download something.
