Curious if anyone else is having the same problems I'm having.
I bought a C4 back in March or April I believe. Last month is when everything started going downhill.
As of right now, If I plug the phone into a wall charger while the phone is off, it constantly turns on & off, or cycles, never getting pass the black Sony screen. Eventually after doing it several times. It will begin charging. I'll let it charge to 100% but then thats when I run into more problems.
If i turn the phone on and get to where the OS is running, it may stay on for about 5 seconds before shutting back down. 1 out of 5 times just about. It'll stay on and I can use my phone. Thats when I run into even more problems.
While using the phone & not really putting a load on it. Heck I don't even have hardly any apps installed, just Boom Beach so I can test the phone, it'll warn me the battery is too hot & it shuts down even though it doesnt feel as hot as it would normaly run. If that problem doesnt happen then the battery drops fast. For instance it goes from 100% down to the 60's, on average, then shuts off. After that I'm back to the first problem and it's telling me I have 0%-15% charge.
I sent the phone off to Sony cause it's under warranty and after two weeks I got it back. They did a software upgrade as the fix. Took it out the box, plugged it to charge as was recommended, and boom. Same exact problems.
I'm really leaning towards a bad battery but I took my phone somewhere else for a second opinion & they dont believe its a bad battery. They think it could be software or something else major.
Has anyone ever come across this issue? It really frustrates me. I just want my phone working good cause I really do enjoy having it. I dont really wanna go back & forth with Sony trying to get it resolved while being stuck with a piece of crap ZTE phone for back up during the time.
