Dead Xperia SP

It seems that the problem that kills the Z's also affects the SP. It's the third time this happens on my one month old SP... the phone simply shuts down for no reason and, even with the "power + volume up buttons trick", it only comes back to life whem it wants to.
I've read somewhere that Sony is working on an update for this but, in the meanwhile, I think we're stuck with this

I think i'm so lucky because my phone never turn down. Have you upgrade to the last version? (2.245). Have you use the repair option in PC Companion? If the answer is yes; you should claim the warranty, because that's no normal and others SP are not facing that problem. Cheers!

Well, right now I can't say what my version is but, when that happened the first time (a week ago) I've immediatly checked for that and there where no updates available. I also didn't know that the PC Companion had a repair feature but, anyway, it won't do any good now because the phone is completly dead

i had faced similar problem with my sp... but it restarts... thing is when sp is connected with wifi and if auto update of all apps were running in background, the phone restarts. not faced this prob after 254 update.

Well... mine also restarts... the annoying thing is that it takes a day and a half to do it eheh

Yesterday my SP screen turns black and then it dosen't respond to any command (switch-off - volume up etc etc) . The charger led doesn't work too and companion can't connect the phone...

Any help or i've just to wait ??? :'(

Charge the phone for 1-2 hours,repair with sony update service.

stop saying fix it with SUS (Sony Update Service) Xperia SP is removed in SUS use PCC (Sony PC Companion) that available for repairing your software. if you had issue restarting  try using antutu benchmark test for cpu and it  restarts go to your nearest Sony Service Center.

SP is not removed,keep your disrespectful attitude at distance,SP is in both PCC and SUS.

check it before you say anything  there is no xperia SP in Sony Update Services! im not disrespecting you Im just telling the truth
