Do Sony ever provide feedback on forum posts?

Lack of feedback from Sony is very disappointing.

Not as disappointing as the number of fairly fundamental and obvious bugs in the Xperia tablet Z 4.3 update.

Some other vendors respond to forum posts on their own forums by acknowledging that they have replicated a reported  issue and are working on it.

They also publish lists of bugs they have fixed and tested and will include in the next update.

When I reported some of my issues by phone or chat to Sony support, they were unaware of bugs that had already been reported by others.

This suggests they don't monitor the forum.

How many responses from Sony has anyone spotted on this forum?

There was however a post from a moderator telling someone off for using abusive language!

Feedback from Sony would work to their advantage as well as users. It would avoid many duplicated postings, reducing the number both Sony and users need to read to be sure an issue has been reported.

Members like myself and others including Moderators are not employed by Sony - We simply help or try and help members with their issue(s) - It is up to those mentioned to not only help members but keep the forums clean of spam and advise members where needed not to use offensive language and also include personal details in forum posts - For issues where you feel you have not had the help or your issue has not been resolved then that's when you can contact Sony via telephone or chat to escalate your issue and on some occasions a member of the Sony Support Team will ask you to send them a private message with details of your issue which they can seek advice on and get back to you at the earliest opportunity.

Hope this helps clear up the role we play on here
