Error during the software update of xperia L

Dear All

I updated my xperia L a week ago but it started experiencing frequent shut down issues and the games started to stuck up too. I decided to repair my mobile and reinstall the software update but it gives the following error. (Software update engine could not be installed. (error 0x803d0020).

Please guide me on this issue.

Make sure that you have PC Companion and Sony Ericsson update engine allowed in your firewall. 

You can also try to update the phone using Update Service:
