Hey my Touch Screen Stopped Working

Running 4.3 -  i think that is a software problem 

When it crashes it turns off and so I have to restart using Power button + Volume up.

Screen does not work.

Everything else does ie button works, can take calls (but only answer using headset), can take photos.

Just seem like a software glitch that stops screen from working.

I have restarted using the Power button + Volume up but same result numerous times.

Used PC companion to repair/hard reset but it says I have the most up to date software and will not allow me to proceed.

It has randomly allowed me to work after I have powered up. At this point I did  a factory reset and worked fine but once downloaded all apps that I used before worked for half a day then back to the same thing.

Any clues?

If possible, you can always try to boot the phone into safe mode to exclude problems related to third party applications:

Otherwise, I suggest that you perform a software repair via PC Compnaion:

In PC Companion you press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Repair phone/tablet (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.

Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it.
