Literally, I went to a swimming pool. And I tried the underwater photography. Everything seemed to be okay, but something worst happened after I get home. The back and front camera lens got foggy and moisture on it, and my phone still working fine. But then, my phone started to response by its own without i'm touching it. And now, the touch screen doesnt work at all. HELP PLEASE?!
Sorry to hear that, contact your local Xperia Care and request a vacuum test
What is it for?
To find out if there is an issue with the flaps/cover or if the problem was that the covers weren't firmly closed
If someone calls me, I still answer the call by swiping it from left to right even though it's in white screen.
Which phone do you have Z2 or E Dual? also you already know the problem is water damage
Yes, as mentioned it would be best for you to contact your local Xperia Care Centre or indeed where you purchased the phone to voice your concerns.....if you insist on a Vacuum Test on the phone before any work is carried out on it this will determine if it is indeed waterproof .....you can also check the white tabs under the flaps to see if they have turned red, if so then it is indeed water ingress
Good luck & keep us up to date on how you get on :smileysmileywink:
I've sent the phone to the service centre. The question is, after they fixed the phone, will it still be waterproof?
Hi, simple answer is ....yes....it should be, did you mention the vacuum test?
