Hi, I implemented the software update last night and am rather regretting that I did!
Somehow, predictive text has been turned off, and now when I go into Settings > Language & Input, I only have the option to swap between different types of keyboard (I have both the standard keyboard and Touchpal loaded) and absolutely no options to use any tools to alter the input methods. The update also seems to have robbed Touchpal of its ability to use a phone keypad rather than a Qwerty one.
What I would like is either the Sony own keyboard OR Touchpal showing a phone keypad rather than a full Qwerty keyboard, and predictive text turned on. If anybody can help, I would be very appreciative!
I even tried going into my local Sony shop this morning, but they too were at a loss.
So you don't have the option under the option you mentioned called Xperia keyboard which is where all the settings you ask for are now found
Hi,
I've been using the T9 phonepad that is available via the Sony keyboard prior to the Lollipop upgrade, and if anything it seems better post upgrade.
