There is a way, no.. There are Multiple ways but all requires "root" - I do not recommend you to root your device unless you are a pro user, knows what to do and can live without having the manufacturer warranty.
If then the urge to disable that sound is great, root your device. Use a root file browser, search for the notification files, find the one that read lowbattery.ogg or similar and replace it with a muted ogg file (you can find many of them online)... Reboot your device and no more sound!!!
However, seriously... Don't do that.
