M4 keeps losing signal

Hi All. I am new to Forum chat and not sure of any protocol?

I am also new to Sony. When I say new I mean earlier this year I aquired an Xperia m4 Aqua via our local Virgin shop and am now on my second after a speacker fault repair, replaced last month after a month with out a phone. Never had that before. Vodafone gave me a loanfone when I damaged a screen. EE replaced my wifes phone next day and my son had his phone exchanged on site at his o2 shop.

Guess what? I've now got a problem with connection in that it keeps losing signal or tells me there is no sim!

Anyone else had similar problems because I'm begining to think I should have stuck to Samsung

I'm sorry to hear about your issues, but you have 2 issues, one that has to be addressed by Virgin and not Sony (exchanging phones and/or loaners). 

As for your issue, you could try a brand new SIM card and/or repair the phone with XC

This could also be SIM related, can you test with another SIM card, maybe a friend or family members. Failing that go through the instructions supplied by @uliwooly
