Media process hangs after upgrading to Android 4.3

I have ripped my CDs and put MP3 versions on my 64 GB memory card. This means that I have > 11000 songs on the device.

After upgrading my Xpera Z1 with this memory card to Android 4.3 it no longer works well, however...

The battery is drained within hours, and I need to charge it multple times each day.

When checking the Unit -> "Program not responding" sub menu shows 3324 instances of android.process.media not responding, which seem to have happened about every 20 seconds the whole night, when the device has been untouched for hours...

Any fix for this known?

Repair your phone with SUS or PCC and check again 

also 

settings >apps > all > walkman > clear data

Thanks for the reply, but i did a full reset a couple of weeks ago, but the problem returned in slightly modified form a week later.

There's probably an app acting up or creating this issue
