Microphone does not work

The microphone of my xperia j does not work.

During calls the caller can not hear my voice, "shazam" does not recognize the songs, "google voice" does not recognize the voice, ... etc.
It is possible that the microphone is turned off? is possible to activate it?

No case or screen protector

Have you tried using a headset with your phone? or use your phone in speakerphone?

I have tried to call with headset and works perfect. Other bluetooh devices works properly too.

When I made a call in speakerphone mode I can hear my interlocutor, but he can´t hear to me.

In video camera mode, I can´t rec sound too

I think is a hardware problem because I made test (*#*#service#*#*) and microphone does not works

Hi , i brought this Xperial J last month at Malaysia Sony center  , new phone with Box no open , same issue ( Microphone does not work ) .

Fortunately , they exchange another Xperial J ( Box already opened ) to me , but the microhone is ok .

After 1 month , facing the touch screen issue on the Xperial J . I have no more time go to Sony service center becuase it is far from my house . So i go to XDA forum find the solution .

1st , hardware problems ,

2nd , software / firmware problems .

Same problem is being faced by me.

For 2-3 times daily my inbuilt phone speakers does not responces, I can hear other people's call but my voice does not reaches to them. Loud speakers doesnt responces too.  During this period I have cross checked my speakers whether it is off but it is always on. There is no certainity of this problem, sometimes it sorted out after restart, sometimes not & remains for hours long.

The most surprising thing is that during this "no voice outgoing" period whenever I connect my external headphones provided by sony, my voice can reach other people well.

I'm having the same problem now. I also find that the vibrator has stopped working also. So it must be related. I see that these post are a year old. I've had my Xperia for 6 months now.

i have the same problem too. this problem began this morning. i'm about to be crazy. my voice doesn't be saved in Watsapp or any program. when other people call me , they can't hear my voice. My mic. is "cört" , in other words it has been shattered. Also , my phone doesnt work with any handphone or hands free. 

 it is weird that i didn't anything to break it. Please help me!! What shoul i do?
