New Z3 camera will not focus.

I just got a new Z3, and the auto focus on the main camera isn't working. I can hear a click when I open the app, or when I switch from the front camera to the rear one - is that a normal sound? I changed the camera settings, cleared the app data, tried using Google Camera, and even reset the phone. Is there anything else I should try? Is my camera defective? Help!

In order to focus,you need to press half the distance that the camera button can go. After that, press it all the way.  What you hear when opening the camera are the lens.

But it doesn't focus on anything. The focal length is stuck at a few centimeters in front of the lens.

In this case,return the device as it may be faulty.
