After a long hot day where I did notice the battery to be hotter than usual, my Xperia M2 would no longer charge. I figured it was a battery issue, and left it for a day or so. Then, after plugging it in and noticing the red light indicating it was charging, I turned the phone on and heard the startup jingle, but the screen stayed completely blank.
The phone is fully functional. I get haptic feedback response and Messenger pings when I'm connected to a known wifi. However, the screen is not displaying whatsoever.
I have attempted a PCC software repair, but I'm recieving UEGetPhoneInfoFailure as an error message. How should I proceed?
Hi @SyntaxError, I'm sorry to hear this.
It sounds like this is hardware related and that your phone is in need of repair. I suggest that you contact your Local support team for information on where to find an authorized service center and how to proceed from here.
